YAY im so happy ive been playing tons of team fortress2. i just hope its not stuff that we have to buy U_U and i cant wait to watch meet the medic. whats left for meet the __? i think the only one left is the pyro! that will be epic :3
That sounds awesome. Too bad I haven't played Team Fortress 2 in awhile. Maybe it's time to get back in though.

If tF2 goes free-to-play then what is going to stop ppl from making multiple free accounts to up there item drops?
Weird I allways use steam to see what my internet download rate is ,weirdly enough its team fortress 2 I use. Hmmmm

It won't have to be purchased. Everything will be available as drops, as always. Purchasing it will fasttrack it to you, but you can still craft, trade and randomly find stuff. I can guarantee it.

I doubt the game will be going free-to-play. Far too many hassles, there'll be disgruntled customers (Most for stupid reasons), etc.

As long as there is some sort of cosmetic item removal cvar I'll be interested. Otherwise no thanks, but I'll watch the heck out of Meet the Medic
Yeah guys, TF2 will still stay as TF2. The micro-trnsaction dealio that started last year is COMPLETELY OPTIONAL; hats are rare, but if you really want certain kind, you pay cash for it.

This update will finally introduce the Detonator for the Pyro then? Can't wait to get my hands on some new toys :D
I wish the achievement milestones would come back. That was a fun way of working towards weapons. Sitting around waiting for drops or haggling with the hat obsessed traders is not fun.
@mrandynixon: I know a few people that still play TF2 on 360. I used to play with them back in the day, before TF2 PC started doing crafting and whatnot. These guys still play almost every day. I don't know how they do it.
