First we were introduced to the Heavy Weapons guy. Then we saw the Soldier in action. Today, Valve brings us the Engineer. One thing that seems to be a common trait among every class in Team Fortress 2 seems to be that they are all bat sh*t insane! Seriously, how can anyone play the guitar with bullets landing inches away from their face?!
Don't forget that you can get in on the Team Fortress 2 beta starting up next Monday too. Also, I had some hands-on time with the game during the EA Showcase that will be up tomorrow. Here's a preview: I didn't really like it ... DUN DUN DUN!
Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

Meet the rest of the team
Awesome video. As I recall, CTZ, you had un-nice things to say about sniping in COD4 as well, which I haven't really seen a problem with. MAYBE YOU SHOULD JUST GO PLAY QUAKE 2, OLD MAN.
You mean this game is finally coming out! *gasp* I loved Team Fortress when it was a mod for quake... loved the mod of the mod, Mega Team Fortress too.
Any of the console versions support mouse and keyboard? Otherwise, here I come PC version!
@casual: Oh god! He'd probably talk like the Micro Machine Man o.o! But this video was pretty good. Kinda wish they'd get around to showing off the Spy soon. I loves me some stealthy-disguisy spy goodness.
These teasers are a cavalcade of violent delights, and I hope their charming charisma doesn't get wasted on the unoriginal class-based FPS time waster TF2 may turn out to be.
Be honest with yourself; if it weren't for the Orange Box tie-in and the Pixar visuals we'd probably let this dip under and out of the radar. I look forward to giving it a whirl anyway.
Personally, I think everyone should buy the Orange Box because it's so damn cheap. It's like, how can you not get that much for that price? Who knows. Maybe it could start a trend. $50 games FTW?
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

Oh my God . . . Who touched Sasha?!
Then buy it on 360. Why would you play TF2 on single player?
TFC isn't the original though, that's why it's called Team Fortress Classic.
The original is still my favorite, nothing beats a well-made Quakeworld TC!
