I found it pretty repitive an just not as great as most people said.
It's not a bad game but hardly a GOTY contender IMO
To all the complainers at Team Bondi: It's the game industry, get over it. You had seven years to get this thing done. What were you doing with the other six years you were not crunching?
Yeah, I was totally addicted at first then halfway through the game I realized I was essentially doing the same thing over and over. I saw through the formula and lost interest. A shame because I really enjoyed myself at first. Still haven't gone back to finish it yet & I bought the Rockstar Pass on sale. :eyeroll:
Huh? I thought Rockstar owned the IP rights.

it was good for the first 2 desks. but went down hill after that cause it was so repetitive.
really a shame about Team Bondi. hopefully the employees there find work in a better company.
They make a great game that is also a commercial success on their first try, and they still close their doors?
Seriously, what the hell?
Yep, me too. This game was overpraised by review outlets, IMO.
I admired the innovation on display, but I found the interrogation mechanics to be too wonky. Specifically, the 'Golden Butterfly' case was the point where I got annoyed enough with the game to quit and ship it back to Gamefly. The game didn't give me the option of accusing the suspect that I wanted to accuse. And never mind the fact that obviously neither of them was guilty.
Yeah, I was bored after the first few cases, especially when they started introducing item combinations that didn't make sense. I did think it was funny at the end of the game when the devs got so sick of the main character that they swapped him out for a new one.
As for the company - I feel bad for the troops, but the people running it can go to hell.
I hope Rockstar takes the series and runs with it. Next stop: Cleveland 1938... Eliot Ness and the Torso Murderer!
stfu moron. The people that were vocal about the poor working conditions at team bondi specifically mentioned abusive leadership, not getting paid for hours worked, and several crunch times that lasted over 9 months on a game that was in production for 7 years.... I don't think you would be feeling so hot having a pinhead like brendan mcnamara screaming at you, committing you to projects that end up flushed down the toilet, and then not even receiving ANY credit for your years of hard work. The fact that you blame the employees for not getting this game out immediately shows your serious lack of knowledge on the issue as a whole. The game took so long to come out, because the studio was so poorly managed, and not the other way around.
