Tara Long got a chance to demo The Darkness 2 and talk to 2K's Seth Olshfski about it today at PAX. They discuss the art style, which is more heavily influenced by the comic than the first game, and story (Paul Jenkins is returning to continue the tale). There is also some talk about what quad wielding is.
There is something satisfying about calling up the powers of darkness to cause destruction, and The Darkness 2 looks like it delivers plenty of mayhem. I had my doubts about the quad wielding but even that looks good. Sad news is that the game was delayed until February 7, 2012. Good news is the silly protest that started recently doesn't seem to have affected the game at all.
Played it today as well, and it's definitely the most fun out of all the FPS's I played so far in PAX! Kinda sad there was barely a line for a such a big kiosk =(.
