They are revamping a bunch of things, but you wouldn't know because you are too lazy to actually look it up. Then you'll probably go buy a game that is an exact remake then not see the irony in that.

And yeah, they usually do a great job of expanding on the game every year. Since 08 there has been significant updates every edition.

Can't wait to set the world record for most nets knocked off moorings during a season, haha. That and goalie interference (and hopefully a bit of tweaking to the fighting system) means I'll definitely be picking this up.
As a long time TB Lightning fan, after struggling these past few years it is good to see some recognition. Go Bolts. Good to see TB teams in general getting some recognition.
Tim Thomas deserved the cover hands down. I actually can think of many players who were more deserving this year.

I'm a Habs fan and hate the Bruins, but I gotta agree with you there. Thomas is more deserving of it, but I don't think there's ever been a goalie on the cover of an NHL game (I could be wrong). Maybe a picture of a goalie doesn't sell well compared to that of a forward. Oh well.

@tdiddy geez man, sorry that I'm not a huge hockey nut, but I've been burned by other ea sports titles so forgive my ignorance. That said I played and loved Nba 2k11.

Unless I miss read, you can hit a man so hard he will shatter the glass in NHL 12. That sounds like about the coolest thing in a video game since chainsaws in Mutant League Hockey.
I am a tampa guy too, I love that Stamkos is on the cover. I can't wait to dive into this, I play NHL11 all the time myself in my hockey league. It is quite fun to play!
