I'm not ashamed to say that I have zero idea what the hell is going on with Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition. But I do know that Capcom announced a new playable character for the game's "Mercenaries Reunion" thing this morning: Ms. Gionne.
A bombshell type, the press release says she is indeed murderous as opposed to just cute and bouncy. I figured as much considering she's being thrust into a special edition of a horror game that features zombies, viscera, and other assorted ridiculous, disgusting, or evil things.
Also announced this morning was something about Jill Valentine and Josh Stone being in the second episode of "Desperate Escape." I don't think it's like Prison Break, which is immediately what came to my mind. Instead, it sounds like Resident Evil 5. Good. I'm familiar with that. Check out these assets.

A ha ha! It does look suspiciously like the People's Elbow!
Many a gamer has knocked the hell out of Resident Evil 5, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. Definitely looking forward to the upcoming DLC and playing as the sexy Excella Gionne! Also, Josh "The People's Champion" Stone.
