Have been stalking the FB page since the day that puzzle website was posted, everyday with the teasers. While we have a feeling it was real, it's amazing that it's REALLY REAL. FUCK YES~!!! I CAN"T FUCKING SAY ENOUGH ABOUT MY EXCITEMENT!
I've been following the blurry images for the past week now and am glad to finally get confirmation on this. Yesterday's image had the "T" from Vesperia's logo, so I thought it would be announced for PS3 as well. This announcement is pushing me towards selling my 360 to get a PS3 anyhow though, but I'd still like to be able to play Vesperia. Regardless, I've been wanting to play this game ever since it was announced for the Wii, so this is great news for me.
Not to be all ungrateful or anything, but Vesperia for PS3 still needs to be localized.

ok, i might be lost, but was the original tales of graces released in the west?? because getting a sequel and not the original first makes little sense.
BRIX WERE SHAT. The Tales series is easily my FAVOURITE series of games. If this wasn't localized I was just going to import it, hold on to it until I learned Japanese and then play it. BUT NOW I don't have to. Maybe have to still for the DS Tales games and Rebirth....but thats ok. Now I am off to go change into fresh undershorts as mine have been soiled. They probably will be soiled again as I will be thinking about how fucking awesome this is until it comes out. Maybe I should invest in adult diapers...

I always said Namco wouldn't do it unless they thought it was viable.
Well they must think it's viable. I still don't expect much, but I'll be keeping an eye on it, and looking out for reviews. All the fanboys who've imported have said it's great, but you knew their opinions weren't valid when you read "fanboys".

@Seta: You're confusing it with Symphonia. Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World was released here.

You know what, fuck it I'll take it! Namco Bandai boycott over! I don't have a PS3, but god damn it this makes me happy. And PS3 owners please, for the love of God: buy this game!
Buying this. Here's hoping that they bring over Xillia also, because that shit looks pretty cool so far.

Also I must agree Vesperia for the PS3 and Xillia NEED to come here. News of either or both of these games coming to NA would make me orgasm, shit bricks, scream in ecstasy, and then begin to tell everyone I come across why these games are so fucking awesome. I will be annoying to almost everyone but I won't care! TALES GAMES ARE BEING LOCALIZED!

For the most part as the first game Tales of Phantasia (and its gbc sequel Narikiri Dungeon) and the Gamecube game and Wii sequel (Tales of Symphonia + Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of a New World) are actually in the same universe. As is Tales of Destiny and Tales of Destiny 2 (NOT the rest of the world's Eternia, as our eternia was stupidly named Destiny 2).
Not a PS3 owner, but I hope people buy this. It probably won't exceed any sales expectations though. Be nice if these games weren't exclusives. That way, everyone that does like these games can play the few that make it here. Chances are we won't be seeing that many Tales games around here.

Exactly, they might as well bring them over. Never thought I'd be playing Ys games so much(not in my language at least). Be nice if they went nuts and brought Rebirth here. Or at least Destiny 2. ;(
Rebirth would be tits to have...or one of the several PSP ports they did of Phantasia (well maybe it was just 2...) seeing as how we only got the very poorly translated gba port. >.< (I still have it though...)
If by some crime it doesn't come to Europe we could always import it, since its PS3. I don't think Vesperia did very well over here though: its incredibly hard to find and a pre-owned copy still costs near enough the full RRP two years later. I'm not really having high hopes for a UK release.
Too bad I don't have the system for this, but it's about time Bamco realized there's still a market outside of Japan. Of course, I fully expect this to be the last title we get for a few years.
