I remember when the R* PR mentioned that they had 0 problems making the game for both consoles. Then the Developers mentioned they had problems trying to fit everything into the DVD9 format, then M$ sends them an angry email, PR quickly says it was PS3's complexity to develop for. Then M$ gets involved investing 50mil for the 2 episodic DLC, The story needs to follow up and in a way it doesnt fully hurt the other console and follows the storyline no problem.
one thing I would like to mention this is why developing for 2 different consoles is a bitch. Whether one is easier or not, it is more complex for the developers to program everything for 2 separate things and make them equally on 2 diff platforms.
As a Web Designer, I can understand this perfectly, when making a site in fully CSS for firefox and ie sometimes its a bitch, the more complicated the web site the more chances you will see errors on one browser and not on the other, or one of the 2 will interpret coding differently.
What am I getting with this is that, making a game for 2 consoles will keep delaying the game to get things perfect, thats why exclusivity to one console makes it 10 times easier and earlier release.

If the only reason that GTA is delays is because the PS3 version is not ready then this sucks ass big time. GTA is a system seller, especially around christmas. This news sucks no matter what the real story is. I'll content myself with a game of Duke Nukem Forever before I see this.
