I don't think it's been confirmed yet but if you have a look at the Advanced Warfighter series, the console games were TPS and the PC games were FPS. Very strange. I personally preferred the FPS versions though. This leads me to believe they will do the same for Future Soldier.

Sooooo not interested in A TPS version of a FPS game. What the hell are they thinking? Next thing you know Mario Kart will be cockpit view only. I love these games but the thought of them in third person........ Eck
Even though they were vastly different, the PC versions of GRAW were excellent. Despite Ubisoft's recent PC track record, this could easily be great as well. Don't overreact TOO much, people...
God damn I miss the days of "just watch a trailer". Now I am forced to at the very least wait for some stupid cliched trailer to end about some stupid cliched tv show about some god damned milf NYPD LAPD WTFPD officer who has something to prove who has an attitude. Jesus Christ that show looks terrible. Also Ghost Recon.
I doubt the PC versions will be an FPS, it'll probably be another port. The creators of the PC version "GRIN" disbanded back in 2009 due to debts and how badly Bionic Commando sold.

It's baffling how developers can ruin any chance of real success by releasing a game as a TPS instead of an FPS.
