I see the magazine spreads and television shows that feature massive houses, 6-car garages, pillars and spiral staircases, and all this other unnecessary bullsh*t and just roll my eyes. I don't care if you're well-off; that's just a huge waste of money, especially when just two or three people live there. Your house is to live in, not put on display.
Me? I have a little house in the hills. It's kind of old, and kind of small, but it fits all of my junk in it, and it's nice and comfortable. I've never seen anything from these shows and magazines that I want for myself. But I would now like this bathroom.
Check out this amazing Donkey Kong Junior hand-tiled shower/bathroom. Colombian artists Andres Barragan and Miss Vynilos have the coolest shower I've ever seen! Technabob says that each tile's placement was based on individual pixels from blown-up NES screenshots.

I'd have some fun in the shower with her if you know what I mean.
I want to try this with some other Nintendo games (Metroid would be ridiculous).
When I get out of the apartment and into my own house, I would seriously consider doing something like that with the tiles. I think a Contra bathroom would be the shit.
Pretty cool, though Donkey Kong Junior is kind of forgettable.
