For all those fans out there of seeing an entire videogame before you actually play it, we've got a treat. Above is a walkthrough of Bioshock 2 with Lead Environment Artist Hogarth Delaplante. In the 8 minute long video he takes us through most of the new features the game is going to offer and a lot of the new scenery we're all going to see as we explore Rapture for a second time.

If you've been wondering all about how setting traps is going to work than this is the video for you. Maybe you've simply been wishing to see exactly how the Big Daddy's “dual-wielding” is going to pan out or if the the new hacking mechanic is going to be better than the old one. Either way, video watching time is the time you should be having.

That Surface World Theme Park is a great idea.

Dude really didn't have to be ON SCREEN the entire time, and he wasn't all that good at it either.
The game seems interesting enough but I'm not jumping out of my skin for another walk through rapture with a twist in the story that almost everyone will expect. This time the walk through seems like it'll be painfully slow.

At first I was really opposed to this... too soon, too similar, story not as good, etc... the more recent videos talking about new storyline ideas and such have me back to wanting to play it.

Haven't played Bioshock 1 yet. Maybe I'll go hunt down a used copy.

I thought the first game was dreadfully linear to me, but the combat was really fun. I'm sure that the reason it was linear was to present a clear story and such, but I really wanted Rapture to be a free roam city... Still, I'll accept the sacrifice of open world mechanics for a good story. Also I can already tell that the dual wielding mechanic is going to be a blast, I always wanted to have plasmids and gunplay accessible at the same time in the first game :)
