OlliOlli 2 is all about failure and 'one more run' photo
OlliOlli 2 is all about failure and 'one more run'
by Steven Hansen

I was real into OlliOlli 2 last month. Skate was a surprise, that I could actually still enjoy a skateboarding game in the post Pro Skater world and OlliOlli 2, Roll7's demade 2D skater, served as a second surprise.

The embarrassing bails (skateboard term) and instant reloads turned, "Let me just pick up my Vita and do one run" into "I need to move my Vita away from my work desk or I will play this in 30 minute chunks."

Losing a several million point, whole level combo on a sloppy landing at the finish line is disheartening, but I'd always go right back for one more run.

Some metal bands, not the Castle Crashers devs, play Evolve DLC

A video with a misleading title led me to accidentally watch an Evolve DLC video. "Behemoth plays Behemoth" is less Dan Paladin and Tom Fulp, and more metal bands I've never heard of. But, if you're looking for fantastic insight and well-thought-out critique such as "I loved killing them; they were pissing me off," and "It's pretty much like being on-stage," then do I ever have the video for you.

The new retro: Japanese mystery Back In 1995 looks like a PS1 game
