Valiant Hearts coming to iOS devices on September 4

Valiant Hearts: The Great War was a wonderful experience that came out not too long ago on consoles and PC. And now it's set to arrive on iOS devices on September 4. Same game, just controls redesigned with touch screen in mind. No price point was given, but now you will have no excuse to miss this one.

999: The Novel is a Choose Your Own Adventure book

What really is a game, anyway? This is a question that bothers a lot of insecure people with insignificant things to argue about. Actually, when 999 came out on iOS in Japan we learned it had removed the "escape the room" puz...

Predictable: New RollerCoaster Tycoon announced for iOS photo
Predictable: New RollerCoaster Tycoon announced for iOS
by Jordan Devore

The 60 thumbs up and over 2,300 thumbs down the announcement trailer for RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile has received on YouTube truly says it all. But let's continue anyway: this will be a $2.99 download for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. How many more beloved PC brands must we see tarnished on mobile? All of them? It's starting to feel that way.

"Create and share the coolest amusement park of your dreams and construct incredible roller coasters to keep your visitors excited. Build the best park, unlock new materials, and exchange roller coaster blueprints with friends to become the ultimate RollerCoaster Tycoon!" Right.

Prior to the announcement, Atari was teasing the game on Twitter and immediately people assumed it was going to be a mobile title as opposed to the proper, full-fledged PC game long-time fans have been awaiting. It's as predictable a situation as it is disappointing.

Review: SteelSeries Stratus iOS controller photo
Review: SteelSeries Stratus iOS controller
by Chris Carter

MFi controllers really have the ability to be a game changer for iOS devices. But they're in their infancy, and not only are a select amount of games supported, but they also have some limitations. So far, I've reviewed the Logitech Powershell and MOGA Ace Power -- two controllers that are wired, and only work for specific iPhone flavored devices.

Out of nowhere comes a new challenger -- the SteelSeries Stratus line for iOS, which allows for the same four trigger, dual analog control system of the Ace Power, but this time, with wireless support.

If only it were priced a tad cheaper.
