Onechanbara Z2: Chaos trailer full of tits, upskirts, and murder

Holy crap, that song it goes into around the 45-second mark is so damn bad. Onechanbara Z2: Chaos is hitting PS4 in Japan this October, where it can hopefully help shift some units, as the PS4 library isn't tickling the country's collective fancy. Looks I lot better than the Onechanbara I played on Wii.

D3 Publisher has announced the launch date for Earth Defense Force 2025 in the US. You'll be able to blast those bugs on February 18 when the game releases for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

That's not all that is releasing, however. The first downloadable expansion for EDF 2025, "Special Ops," will also arrive on launch day, offering five additional missions for $2.99. Two more mission packs, "Mutant Rampage" and "Beyond Despair," release on February 25 and March 11, respectively, each containing 20 more missions a piece, priced at $8.99. D3 Publisher has additionally stated that these packs will be made available in a bundle at an unspecified date.

Review: Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon (3DS) photo
Review: Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon (3DS)
by Chris Carter

I remember my first episode of Adventure Time. It randomly came on the TV one day and I had no idea what it was -- but I couldn't stop watching. There was something about the show that kept my eyes glued to the screen, watching best pals Finn and Jake battle the "evil" Ice King to save princesses from all across the Land of Ooo.

Years later and I've seen every episode of the show, and I still can't predict what will happen on any given week, or what new endearing character I might meet. To me, that's the mark of something special.

Sadly, the new Adventure Time 3DS game is the opposite of everything the show stands for.

Review: Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby in 8-Bit Land photo
Review: Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby in 8-Bit Land
by Chris Carter

Regular Show is one of my favorite programs on TV right now. It took the simple Beavis and Butthead setup of two slackers getting through their day-to-day routine, and added a bit of '80s and retro sheen to it, alongside a cast of likeable characters.

Imagine my excitement when I found out that WayForward would be handling an old-school 3DS platformer called 8-Bit Land with the Regular Show IP, which is pretty much a perfect fit. After playing it however my excitement has been tempered considerably, but it still has a few tricks up its sleeve to offer the most hardcore of retro fans a good time.

Regular Show game is an amalgam of old-school genres photo
Regular Show game is an amalgam of old-school genres

Not to be outdone by its contemporary, Adventure Time, and the upcoming Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW!, Cartoon Network toon Regular Show is getting a long-titled game of its own, Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land.

In Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land, Mordecai and Rigby get transported into some of their favorite video games. The duo will have to use their best skills and unique abilities to traverse the various challenges to escape and return home in this ‘eggscellent’ journey.

I'm less familiar with Regular Show than I am Adventure Time, having only caught a few episodes of the former, but Destructoid's own Tony Ponce raves about the show ad nauseam. In the linked piece, in fact, Tony notes the show's predilection towards retro games, which is quite appropriate for 8-Bit Land. I may not be all that familiar with the show, but I'm more than familiar with the genres it's employing.
