Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day out now in Japan for PS3

The stunning fifth and final episode of Akira creator Katsuhiro Otomo's Short Peace anthology made its debut on PlayStation 3 in Japan today. I'm all kinds of jealous right now. A sidescrolling action game, Ranko Tsukigi...

Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day has a giant evil Pomeranian

Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day will serve as the concluding piece to Short Peace, a four-part animated anthology from Akira creator Katsuhiro Otomo. I need to see this film so badly. Just look at the art in those traile...

Exclusive: Suda 51's top 7 Killer is Dead moments photo
Exclusive: Suda 51's top 7 Killer is Dead moments
by Jonathan Holmes

Killer is Dead was a day one purchase for me, though from what I hear from my peers, a lot of consumers didn't have the confidence to pick it up upon initial release. With the gift giving holidays just around the corner, and all of your "must-have" games already safely in your possession, maybe this is just the kind of game you'd like to own but not pay for.

Tempted to send your mom out to the local strip mall with instructions to ask the man at the counter to sell her one shiny new copy of Killer is Dead to stuff in your stocking? Check out Suda 51's spoiler-packed favorite moments and see if you're not convinced, and check out our contest for a signed copy of the game while you're at it.

Suda51: The games matter, not the platform

In this hurricane of emotions and hype during the release of the next-gen consoles, it's easy to get caught up in fandom and want to stick with what you know most. Because of this, Suda51 spoke his mind about the current situ...

Liberation Maiden Sin opening cinematic is enticing

Liberation Maiden Sin is all kinds of pretty. The follow-up to Grasshopper Manufacture's Nintendo 3DS shoot-'em-up is ascending to Japan on December 5 for PlayStation 3. Until then, check out the visual novel's exhilarating opening cinematic featuring music from Marina Nakamura.

Liberation Maiden Sin looks gorgeous in latest trailer

Liberation Maiden Sin is unfairly pretty. The follow-up to Grasshopper Manufacture's Nintendo 3DS shoot-'em-up is descending on Japan come December 5. Unfortunately, it's a visual novel, which all but ensures the PlayStation 3 exclusive won't see a release on Western shores.

Killer is Disappointed: Gigolo missions & token weirdism photo
Killer is Disappointed: Gigolo missions & token weirdism
by Steven Hansen

I really like Killer is Dead. I want to like it more, but I’m increasingly unsure if I should. Unfortunately, the awful Gigolo missions are a big part of planting the seed of distrust in my mind.

Hah! I bet you thought you’d avoided a tirade on why Killer is Dead’s Gigolo missions are the worst thing since Reaganomics when Chris Carter only mentioned them in passing in his review. Allow me to Killer is Shed some light on the problem.

Killer is Dead's hero Mondo Zappa has a pretty hard life! In-between traveling the world in search of love, he has to kill countless creatures, humans, and even face his own nightmares on a regular basis.
