Get Skyrim shirts from the official Bethesda store

Bethesda now has an official shop where you can buy a good-sized and varied selection of merchandise related to Skyrim, Dishonored, Fallout, Doom, Quake, and Wolfenstein. Everything from t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, figurines, lithographs, and messenger bags.  Personally, I would love to wear a Winking Skeever shirt with a pair of Vault 101 sneakers. That's the pinnacle of fashion my friends.

Buy & Sell games at Destructoid, win a 3DS (who won?) photo
Buy & Sell games at Destructoid, win a 3DS (who won?)
by Niero Gonzalez

[Update: Congratulations CH Josh of Audobon, NJ, you're the guy!  We'll start another contest soon.  What prize would you like to see next?  PS Vita?  Kindle Fire?  New tube socks? Sound off in the comments!]

Destructoid is proud to bring you the laziest way possible to buy and sell games. We've partnered with Glyde and created The Destructoid BUY AND SELL GAMES THING.

Why you should try it: you'll get way more money selling with us than trading in your games at retail stores. We're so confident you'll like our shop that we're giving away a virtual raffle ticket each time you list and sell a game (or) purchase a new or used game between now and September 30th.  Destructoid earns a commission for each transaction, which means we'll be buying our readers something amazing every month.  If you don't win this one a new contest will be starting up immediately after.  Good luck!

(Note: Dear Friends overseas: Our system only distributes NTSC games within the US right now. We're working on it!)

Your guide to the Nintendo 3DS launch games photo
Your guide to the Nintendo 3DS launch games
by Nick Chester

If you're picking up a Nintendo 3DS at launch, you're likely suffering anxiety over which game to buy along with it. Let's face it: the 3DS launch line up isn't littered with winners.

With more than ten launch titles available and only one North American 3DS unit in our possession, there was little chance we were going to get all of them reviewed in time for the big day. (I'm only one person; have mercy on me.)

I also didn't get some of the launch games (I'm looking at you, Ubisoft) until the Friday before launch. So here's the next best thing: my impressions (and some full reviews) of nearly every Nintendo 3DS launch title. I hope it helps, in some small way, to make your buying decisions a bit easier.

[Be sure to check out our full review of the Nintendo 3DS hardware, in case you're wondering whether or not you want to buy the handheld at all.]

E3 10: Old Xbox 360s priced at $149 on Tuesday photo
E3 10: Old Xbox 360s priced at $149 on Tuesday
by Jim Sterling

The Xbox 360 "Slim" was arguably the biggest news in an otherwise dreary Microsoft press conference. With the sleeker, smaller model comes a little bit of news about the aged, dusty, old Xboxes that nobody cares about anymore. According to Kotaku the Xbox 360 Arcade is dropping from $199.99 to $149.99 at Target, while the Elite will drop from $299.99 to $249.99.

This won't last forever, however, as these archaic models won't be reproduced once sold out. If you want an Xbox 360 Pro for two hundred bucks, you better act fast.

Speaking of obsolete hardware, the new Xbox 360 SKUs won't come with a memory card slot. You remember the "USB storage solution" that came in an update recently? Yeah, apparently Microsoft did that entirely for the upcoming slim 360, as they knew they'd be phasing out memory cards. You'll need a flash drive in order to save up to 16GB of info.

So there you go. A little insight into what's happening with your 360 hardware. Oh, and you'll be pleased to know that the Red Ring of Death isn't a problem anymore, as there aren't any red lights on this new model... clever girl!
