The rhythm game is a spin-off of "the popular...
Having now surpassed 500,000 downloads, Terra Battle fans will soon enjoy new characters from the original character and dragon model designer of Panzer Dragoon, Manabu Kusunoki. The 3DS farming simulator marks the first occasion Natsume has internally developed a Harvest Moon title. All previous entries in the series came as localizations of Marvelous' Bokujō Monogatari franchise, the latest of which is coming west this winter as Story of Seasons.
Terra Battle launches on iOS and Android devices on October 9, Mistwalker announced today.
The tactical role-playing game is the latest brainchild of Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, who drew inspiration from shogi to devise a combat system based around flanking enemies.
Mistwalker plans to continue adding new content as the install base grows. The studio's outlines for various milestones include new music from famed composer Nobuo Uematsu, co-op and versus battle modes, and a console game set in the same universe.
Bloodbornewill launch across North America and Europe starting February 6, Sony has announced. The PlayStation 4-exclusive from Demon's Souls developer From Software will also receive an $80 collector's edition, which includes an ornate case, art book, and a digital soundtrack.
Along with the news comes a new trailer that provides a peek at the title's online functionality.
The remastered role-playing game will debut in North America on March 17, followed by releases in Japan on March 19 and Europe on March 20. The publisher also confirmed a downloadable demo of Final Fantasy XV will come included with the package.
As someone living in the UK, it's super frustrating to see notifications pop up on a console or Steam showing my North American friends playing new releases when I usually have to wait a few more days to get my hands on the same game. Well, Bethesda is being nice to us Europeans and releasing The Evil Within on October 14, the same date of the North American release.
This includes all platforms, both physical and digital in Europe, the Middle East, South Africa, and India. If you're in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, you'll still have a couple more days to wait for The Evil Within but I'm really happy by this move.
As I mentioned earlier, it's annoying to see my friends playing the latest games while I'm stuck waiting for the preferred retailer release date -- especially when it's a PC game.
Nintendo has sent word that Bayonetta 2 will be hitting the Wii U on October 24th. In case you haven't heard of it yet, she'll also gain access to a new "snake transformation" that will let her navigate water, and of course, the first game will be bundled with it with all of the Nintendo costume options we've seen so far.
I had a chance to play Bayonetta 2 recently and enjoyed it. It's pretty much a faithful recreation of the crazy and technical action systems present in the first game, and I'm very happy that Platinum Games is keeping things simple with tactile control options.
Just a few weeks ago, we let you know that the much anticipated Wasteland 2 was being delayed a few weeks into September. Now we've gotten word from inXile head Brian Fargo that the game will finally be with us on September 19.
If you read Alessandro's interview with Brian, you can tell how much of a labor of love this whole project has been; Wasteland 2 has been a game that he's wanted to make for years and it's just a month from being released. I've enjoyed what I've played of the beta and I don't think Brian will have to worry too much about how the game will be received.
I've been meaning to write about The Last Tinker: City of Colors for a while now, mostly because it is pretty as heck. Knack's not cutting it. We could use a few more colorful platformers with anthropomorphic leads. Everything old is new again.
Majesco has announced that Gardening Mama 2: Forest Friends has shipped to North American retailers where you may offer currency in exchange for a copy.
Maybe it's just because I haven't played a Mama game since the Wii installment of Cooking Mama and have simply forgotten why I lost interest in the franchise, but I'm giving serious consideration to playing this. There's a seeming wealth of mini-game variants and other content, while Mama is coming off more adorable than ever. I love a character who makes failure entertaining in its own right, and her wrath certainly qualifies as that.
Anyway, more Japanese games have western release dates. Compile Heart's RPG Fairy Fencer F is coming on September 23. The loli characters come from the Hyperdimension Neptunia artist, but the games' gods were designed by Final Fantasy's Yoshitaka Amano. Plus, Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy) did the music.
