Video: You could win the Theatrhythm: Curtain Call contest, I definitely won't

As we reported earlier today, Square-Enix is holding a contest to win some fabulous Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call prizes. All you have to do is create a short video of your own musical rendition of the Final Fantasy "Main Theme". I took the opportunity to try to turn this news report into an entry for the contest. I probably won't win.

Summer is officially in full swing and most of you are probably sitting inside and playing Destiny. I dont blame you though, if I had a PS4 I would be doing the same exact thing. For those of you who maybe want to pretend you are outside enjoying the nice weather, I have created this playlist of happy summertime jams.

You've got to hear this soothing banjo rendition of Link to the Past's Darkworld

As I've said before, A Link to the Past is my favorite Zelda game. It has it all, mixed with perfect pacing, clean graphics, and a more open structure than pretty much every other game in the series. Another reason why ...

This Parappa homage is simultaneously genius and cringeworthy and I like it

From Gmcfosho, the mind that brought you "IMDABES" and "SWAGGIN DRAGON" comes "GTFO," one of the greatest videos you may ever see. It's a hilarious nod to getting all those losers out of your house after a party gone awry wi...

Listen to the 1001 Spikes soundtrack on Bandcamp

Between 1001 Spikes and Shovel Knight, this has been a great month for games that look and sound old but feel modern. If you're in need of a break from the latter's soundtrack, note that the music for 1001 Spikes is also up o...

The Primal Rage end credits song is the best thing I've heard all day

Primal Rage has been surprisingly relevant lately, which is a good thing because it's led to the recent revelation that this end credits song is amazing. Did you know this existed? I didn't. Max didn't either. Try to take three minutes out of your raging all night and all day to give this a listen.
