Why people hate Electronic Arts photo
Why people hate Electronic Arts
by Vito Gesualdi

It wasn't much of a surprise when Electronic Arts was recently voted the Worst Company in America by readers of Consumerist for the second year in a row. Though the game publisher's sins are arguably less substantial than those of their competition, nerds have soundly declared that borked SimCity servers are officially worse than the predatory housing loan tactics responsible for the current financial crisis.

Regardless of whether you agree with EA's win, it's obvious that gamers really dislike this software giant. Let's take a look at the reasons why.

Mega64: What do we do when the future is flooded by crap?

I hesitated sharing this Mega64 parody of the film Looper because I didn't want to risk spoiling the actual movie for anybody. However, I myself have yet to see Looper, so I'm probably f*cked. And if I'm f*cked, you're all f...

Review: Medal of Honor: Warfighter photo
Review: Medal of Honor: Warfighter
by Jim Sterling

Medal of Honor: Warfighter is a funny name. Yes, "Warfighter" is a term with a real-life military application, but that doesn't stop it from sounding incredibly silly. It is gratuitously macho, not to mention rather redundant. It is, however, a perfectly fitting name for one of the many annual "me too" military first-person shooters that hit the market toward the end of the year.

It is, in fact, the perfect name for Danger Close's latest offering. If Warfighter is anything, it's as gratuitous as it is redundant.

Preview: Medal of Honor: Warfighter multiplayer photo
Preview: Medal of Honor: Warfighter multiplayer
by Abel Girmay

In about two weeks, Medal of Honor: Warfighter will be released. While we've seen single-player content twice already, it wasn't until recently that we got to try out the game's multiplayer at length.

Although the last game had multiplayer which basically amounted to a poor man's Battlefield, Warfighter seems to have done an admirable job of creating a good, but perhaps not great, multiplayer component.
