Okay, this Advanced Warfare Xbox One controller looks rad

Catch that Call of Duty: Advance Warfare Xbox One bundle earlier today? It's a custom system that includes the game and a 1TB HDD for $499.99. The controller is also custom designed, and if you were like me wishing it was available separately well good news! It is. Amazon has it for $64.99.

Watch the Golden Gate Bridge get destroyed in Advanced Warfare

Ghosts was a giant disappointment but man Advanced Warfare is looking really good. I'm mostly interested in the multiplayer at this point, but the single-player looks like it will be worth it this time around too.  The latest video for the new Call of Duty focuses on San Francisco, showing off a chase and the eventual destruction of the famous Golden Gate Bridge.

You want more Evolve? Well here you go. The latest trailer from gamescom shows off a mix up of the past Hunters that have been revealed, plus the squid face monster that the opposing players will take control of. All of this is shown on the new map Distillery.  This video is also eSports like whoa.

Explode zombie heads into raspberry jam with Dead Island 2

This game is a bloody messy. In a good way. I've never been too keen on Dead Island, but maybe with Spec Ops developer Yager on Dead Island 2 (PC, PS4, Xbox One), this will make for a good time. Maybe some white ph...

Call of Duty's multiplayer looks faster than ever in Advanced Warfare photo
Call of Duty's multiplayer looks faster than ever in Advanced Warfare
by Jordan Devore

Activision is offering an in-depth look at multiplayer in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare today during a live event but if you're content with seeing just the basics, this trailer will suffice.

With the new exoskeletons, gameplay is much more vertical. These high-tech suits allow soldiers to jump super high and boost to dodge and dash. At a glance, the speedier movement system appears similar to Titanfall but whether it plays that way remains to be seen. For folks who are into Call of Duty and not much else, this will certainly be a different experience.

The trailer also showcased a level with a tsunami which I hope is a sign of things to come. I like those one-off map events, even if they eventually get stale. Also, Hammer of Dawn, is that you?

Review: Call of Duty: Ghosts: Nemesis photo
Review: Call of Duty: Ghosts: Nemesis

Look, $50 is a lot of money for a Season Pass in a first-person shooter. If it was just comprised of 16 maps alone, no matter how good they were, it probably wouldn't be worth the money for all but the most diehard of FPS fans.

But thankfully, Infinity Ward has made amends for the rather bland core package of Call of Duty: Ghosts, and the Nemesis map pack is no exception. In addition to four solid maps, there's another chapter of Extinction, the developer's out-of-this-world take on Treyarch's zombies.

Because of these packs, I'm actually a bit more excited for Infinity Ward's follow-up in two year's time.

Okay, Metro Redux looks really good compared to the originals

I'm not sure if it's a testament to the visual fidelity of Metro Redux or a stark reminder of how 2033 and Last Light looked on legacy consoles, but this trailer shows that the upgrade for the remake is q...

Killing Floor 2 has more gore than you can twirl a katana at photo
Killing Floor 2 has more gore than you can twirl a katana at
by Bill Zoeker

Killing Floor 2 is showing in spades much of what made the original a success. Blood by the bucket is shown to stain the map for the duration of the match as players dismember genetic freaks every which way. Tripwire Interactive has revamped the Perk system, added a ton of animation variations, and even added some sweet little flourishes to melee weapons.

As a fan of the original game, suffice it to say that what I've seen so far promises to bring the familiar flavor of carnage to another level.

So, Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies is happening

Based on the name alone, Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies doesn't sound like a legitimate, officially-licensed game, but it is. Valve's okay with it! And, actually it's not too far-fetched when you recall that Nexon is responsib...
