Syndicate cast includes Rosario Dawson and more
Electronic Arts and Starbreeze Studios have revealed some familiar names included in the voice cast of Syndicate. First up is Rosario Dawson, who is described as playing a "rising star" in the syndicate EuroCorp. "She's an interesting and strong female character," says Dawson. "How cool is it to play the mastermind who designed the military chip inside the player's head!" Also lending their talents to the game are Brian Cox and Michael Wincott, both of whom are said to play significant roles within EuroCorp. I'm eager to hear how these guys all sound in the game; you never really know what you're going to get. Did you know? Never played the 1993 PC game, but this looks crazy. The demo was pretty fun too. Don't really understand why movies and games feel they need a screen actor for voice work. I can understand it when it's a guy with a particular sound (michael caine, ice cube, keifer sutherland) but womens' voices are pretty indistinguishable. I never really go wow, that's fucking Susan Sarandon's voice as the potato or whatever. @dj-anon if you don't like a game that's okay, to say a game sucks without even playing the full game is a real douche bag thing to do. I don't know how/where to nominate for Comments of the Week but if indigit4l's comment doesn't make it, I'm going to be pissed. Well, I don't think there have been any COTWs for a while, but yeah, if they start up this week, indigit4l needs a spot. @Paroxysm: Wait, what do you mean? Really? You seeing the next Pixar movie is going to be determined by who they hire to play the voice of the titular character. Seriously, there are less expensive non-famous voice talents out there, but then again Rodario Dawson isn't really in a position to be demanding much seeing how her career is going. eally understand why movies and games feel they need a screen actor for voice work.
