THQ and the SyFy channel announced a new deal today in which the Martian revolution will be televised, as in made into a feature-length television special. In addition to its status as a TV movie, the program will also serve as a backdoor pilot for a possible series.
The pairing will also be working on adapting some of SyFy's properties as videogames. At present, THQ is hard at work on adaptations of Ghost Hunters for DS, iPhone and iPad.
