SXSW 07: Spore keynote on shakycam

11:49 AM on 03.14.2007

Summa may have live blogged the Will Wright keynote, but it was extremely difficult for him to balance an HD camera on his foot while simultaneously fending off an ocean of milfs. Luckily, Matthew spotted a shaky cam of the event on Viddler. It may be a little emotionally exhausting to work up enthusiasm for a game that's been talked about at nearly every conference, but it's an enlightening vid nontheless. I'm curious though: I wonder why the company chose to give an update on Spore at SXSW and not at the larger GDC... hmm.

Alice from Kotaku/Wonderland also has an excellent writeup: The planet is a toy
