The interactive arm of the South by Southwest exposition kicked into full gear today at the Austin convention center, steps away from the craptacular Radisson Hotel whose computer system has been down since 9 a.m. and has us wandering the streets of this Texas town smelling like the greasy TGI Friday's quesadillas. Seriously, I'm about to put on the Destructoid helmet and start headbutting blondes.
Anyway, we took a few moments from smelling ourselves to pick up our badges, exercise our social engineering skills for sweet swag to give away to our readers, and cruise around the Screenburn expo hall. The show floor is just a notch larger than a high school gym and features various cozy booths where gamers of all ages are going toe-to-toe.
Check out the gallery below for a tricked out Yaris with video game systems and LCDs integrated, Seagate's Xbox 360 charity booth, the new Ubisoft Jam Sessions Nintendo DS game, an interactive shadowpuppet art exhibit, and a healthy dose of cosplay. We're headed back to spend some quality time with a few of the orphans and companies exhibiting. As expected, the Texan milfs are attacking Summa. Entertainment for the whole family here, folks -- if you're in the area come down and hang with us.
