Wednesday will see the release of two Live Arcade puzzlers, Switchball and Word Puzzle. Each game will set you back by 800 Microsoft Points, should you deem them worthy of purchase.
Switchball is one of those "get from point A to point B" games in which you guide a ball through a series of unnecessarily complex mazes. It features some fancy visuals and 2-player co-op in addition to 8-player competitive racing.
Casual gamers and manly men rejoice, as Word Puzzle is right up your alley. It definitely reminds me of another popular word-finding game, but I've been informed that it "contains 95% less worms than the leading competition." I'd be all for that if we were discussing dairy products, but I'm a firm believer that games about worms are pretty damn awesome.

* Thank god that someone finally came up with the idea of merging Katamari with high tension tightrope walking. I mean, I know that there have been Katamari tightrope games before, but this one has real-world physics. That's right bitch: Real. World. Physics. When you fall off that tightrope with your Katamari, you go straight muthafuckin' down. I heard they almost had to put this shit on the Xbox 720. But then that would be fucking retarded, wouldn't it?
