Swapper popping in on PlayStation in May photo

The Swapper came seemingly out of nowhere to be a pleasant surprise last year on PC. The fun won't be stopping there, as Curve Digital has announced that they (through their in-house developer, Curve Studios) will be porting the platform puzzler to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita. The game is currently slated to arrive mid-May and will be a cross-buy for all platforms.

It's a lovely looking game, though I'll probably still wind up playing the PC version out of convenience. Just another feather in the cap of Sony's platform at this point, and the wave of games is starting to swell considerably. It's getting to the point where even I can't ignore the increasing interest I have in owning a Vita just to take advantage of the features and effectively free software I'm accumulating already.

The Swapper deserves your attention

PAX East had a ton of indie games on display this year, and while many of them looked great, only a handful stopped me dead in my tracks as I became mesmerized by what was happening on-screen. The Swapper was one such game, ...more

La-Mulana 2 aims to be more 'intuitive,' still hard as heck

La-Mulana was regarded by some as the hardest game ever. This isn't going to change, though Nigoro's Takami Naramura wants it to be slightly more intuitive so perhaps all those deaths don't lead to warranted frustration and ...more
