I can't actually believe devs are still advertising in this way... I guess they need more straight female reviewers in the industry. At least this isn't targeted at gamers... where more than a fair percentage are indeed straight females.
just my 0.02. I've seen some interesting cases made for objectifying advertisements so to make a long story short... even if I am wrong, advertisers will still advertise to men more because there are more of us playing videogames than women are. It sucks, but it's just part of the 'sport' I guess.
Meh.. it's not a big deal... more of an annoyance.
I seriously doubt that any women playing shit like Farmville would ever be drawn into proper videogaming.
If your idea of growing the industry is giving market power to the retards playing games on their facebooks then I don't want any part of it.
Boobs or no boobs.
There's plenty of games that don't market women as sexual objects, like Call of Duty and Gears of War. Most of the female players I know love both of these games, so maybe there's some truth to what you're saying.

So I'm inclined to think that sex doesn't actually work to sell video games as much as people think. Unless of course you're just trying to generate controversy. In which case when you whine about it you're just giving them what they want. This calendar seems more like a tounge in cheek trolling attempt than a boner inducer.
By the way, whatever did you do with your Sonic Colors tarp?
