so, do I suck for never having heard of a third of the games listed in #13? or are they PS3 games, and I just haven't been paying attention.
#7 and #10 make me a bit sad.
and #18 is news that's almost too good to be true. the second most under-rated game of the last console generation is actually going to get a sequel... i'll believe (read: buy) it when I see it.

No Shenmue makes me sad. If Sega dosen't give me Shenmue III I'll waterboard Sonic.

Until something surfer girl says comes good (and not completely obvious, of course!), I will take what the blog says with a grain of salt.
Although, if Skies 2 comes to Wii and they get rid of random encounters, I will buy a Wii. Easy sale right there.

I'm still hesitant to believe any of this, since all of her rumors have been long-term so far and unconfirmable.
But this is all speculation which has been around for ages, especially the Shenmue one, that info was very openly stated by Sega themselves right after the release of Shenmue 2.

Lots of good Wii news, which always makes me happy. Sorry to hear the Animal Crossing MMO won't go outside of japan, but I'll keep my fingers crossed that she's wrong on that one. Punch Out would rock so hard it isn't even funny!
I dunno, I feel like she might be jerking us around a bit with some of these (and not jerking in the good way either). I'd like to see what her reliability track record is before I jump on the bandwagon. Telling people what they want to hear, or whats likely to happen, is a good way to get an unquestioning followers.
As much as I'd like to believe some of those are true it just sounds like a load of speculative bullcrap. Who is this SurferGirl supposed to be anyway? These "hot tips" don't sound like they're from an insider and come across as utterly fabricated.

Comeon, as much of a huge Megaman fan I am, Megaman might be a bit boring, unless maybe it's megaman zx or a powered up megaman x. For a Capcom character, I'd prefer Ryu from Street Fighter, or maybe even Viewtiful Joe. Or dare I say, Okami?
If there's really going to be a Capcom character in Smash Bros., I hope it's Ryu but it'll probably be Megaman.

Robbo, I'm a fan of Quantic Dream. I've played though Indigo Prophecy 7 times already and I suffered through a good chuck of Omikron. MGS4 and GT are on my radar but all I'm concerned with is Heavy Rain.

As sweet as using Luminaire for your final smash would be, Crono would be otherwise lost amongst all the other swordsmen. Give me Magus. Magus would bring the following to the brawl: a nontraditional melee weapon, flashy specials, a Dark Matter final smash, and unadulterated badassery. And he can float. If I could pick one character for SSMB, it would be Magus.
As regards other rumors, I will cry if #18 doesn't come true. I don't even need it to come out on all three consoles. If it came out on PS3, that's a PS3 sold immediately. Unfortunately, I am most likely going to mourn the lack of a sequel for one of my favorite games of last gen.
