Suppertime of Destruction: New DLC for Snoopy Flying Ace photo

Snoopy Flying Ace is a terrific flight combat game. I feel like I have to reiterate this point every time we bring it up, because you can't be blamed for thinking otherwise, at least initially. Its always nice to see a solid game get follow-up content, and that's exactly what's happening.

The "Suppertime of Destruction" pack (fantastic name!) includes some neat stuff: two new planes, one of which is piloted by your Avatar; five additional multiplayer modes (Dirty Boy, Turret Defense, Wild Woodstock, Team Wild Woodstock, and Top Dogs); three weapons; 11 pilot costumes; 30 plane skins; and three new Achievements.

You're getting all of those carefully written bullet points for a mere $5. Here's the link to queue the add-on up, for those interested.

I haven't played Snoopy Flying Ace in a while. Maybe it'd be a good time to go back to it. I'll look into getting it on Friday.

This game deserves more love. It's a quality licensed title, and the developers deserve more props for not just putting out the bare minimum shit shovelware.

Too bad there's no plans for a PSN release. Looks interesting.

A canary flying a plane seems kind of silly to me... of course it's ok cause said plane is carrying various machine guns. And thus I realize how to fix the problem of Sonic riding a car....

These are the same people who made Snoopy vs. The Red Baron last gen-- a quality arcade flight sim if I ever played one. They released it for the PSP too. Good times.

Also, it says something when they will offer all this for $5, yet Activision can successfully sell 5 maps for three times as much. Apples and oranges maybe, but still.

Out of curiosity, how many people are playing this game online regularly? It seems like a cool little thing

I was just playing and had no problems but it was the same people over and over which makes me nervous. Especially since I'm hoping to unlock the Red Baron Avatar award.

It really is this gen's Crimson Skies (or spiritual successor) and while it wad well received it looks like interest is cooling. I really hope the new DLC renews content. I'm not big on buying DLC for MP but I might fold and get them just to throw some support to these Dev. Flying Ace is a lot of game for $10 IMO.

I was reading an interview with these guys about how they had a working version that was actually closer to something like Warhawk. Imagine how epic that would've been. But apparently they couldn't get a publisher to support something of that scope so they streamlined it. I hope that Flying Ace is successful enough where these guys can make whatever game they dream up.

Is this Xbox only? I've never heard of this game before. And I'd so drop some cash to play it on my PC. Love me some Snoopy!
