A fighting game fan I am not, but Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition is exciting to me simply because it's a fairly solid indicator of how strong the 3DS' graphical capabilities are. While graphics don't necessarily make the system, it's still good to know that the 3DS is going to look gorgeous.
Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition just got an official website today, along with a batch of new screenshots that show off just how pretty this game's going to look. After years of humble DS graphics, I scarcely believe that I'm seeing this on a Nintendo handheld. Or a Nintendo system at all, for that matter.

As is November 16th, but at least they're taking LBP2 Collector's Edition preorders...

I haven't tried any fighting games for DS (they are pretty rare, now that I think about it), but my problem was less about the PSP controls and more about just prefering to play that kind of game on a console. But like I said, I'm sure I'll end up getting it anyway. Maybe this will change my mind about portable fighters.

Stop. Just stop. There's no sense in belittling what is at once one of the best game series out there right now, but also one of the greatest and well-executed franchise revivals this side of Metroid Prime. If the game wasn't all that great in the first place, we wouldn't see it sell the way it has throughout its entire franchise history, and it wouldn't continue to sell now.

I never really pegged you as a fighting afficionado, but I think I'm pretty safe in saying that now is a GREAT time to start.
The only thing close to haters I've seen is complants about going to a 6 button layout (with 2 shoulder buttons). I'm confused.
