Nintendo DS owners surely know something about the built-in chat software PictoChat, the scribble-friendly program that lets us send phallic messages to other DS owners. Now it looks like PictoChat is making an appearance in the upcoming Wii title Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
French gaming site JeuxFrance has a few pictures of a Brawl PictoChat stage. From the looks of it, Pikachu, Peach and pals seem to be walking (and landing) on the drawings, making their way over the sketched obstacles to beat each other down.
Seeing as how there are so many different backgrounds, we're guessing that the drawings frequently change, giving fighters something else to think about other than taking their opponents on.
[Thanks, Justin]

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I have to say though, the way they're incorporating the music into each stage sounds pretty cool. This begins to make me think that Nintendo might pull some type of achievement/unlockable content deal to get all the songs for each stage. Sounds promising otherwise though.
