I've said it before and I'll say it again, Nintendo should make these Super Smash Bros. Brawl hacks official, and allow players to swap custom characters and gameplay tweaks just like they can with custom made stages. This update to the Waluigi hack brings the character a close as homebrew programmers could ever hope to get to creating a Brawl character that looks and plays like something that came from the official dev team. Sure, there are a few cracks in the paint here and there, but on the whole, this it the Waluigi I wish was in Brawl in the first place.
My favorite bit is probably his final smash, which has a Wesker-ish, Raging Demon quality to it that I really enjoy. I don't know what's up with the ability that Kirby gets from eating him though. Is that some sort of silent-but-deadly belch? Is he supposed to be yelping "WA!" in the patented Waluigi style, but they left out the sound effect? Or maybe it's just another mystery to add to the pile of oddities that make up the abhorrent, genetic anomaly that is Waluigi?
Either way, I'm downloading this dude ASAP.
