Fellow game music fans are going to love this.

Masahiro Sakurai showed off a new Super Smash Bros. 3DS sound feature yesterday on Miiverse. While in Sleep Mode, users will be able to listen to the game's music. Basically, sound test mode + closed portable system = the coolest dedicated soundtrack Walkman ever.

The sound test mode gives access to all of the game's soundtrack, including the new arranged songs as well as songs from past Smash Bros games. Even character voices are included.

Sakurai said that by touching the 'Play in Sleep Mode' option, you'll be able to listen to songs while your 3DS is closed. The L and R buttons let you skip through tracks; loop and shuffle modes are also available. Nice!
