Super MNC update adds Steam Trading, crossover with TF2
Announced through an absolutely hilarious trailer called "Friendship is Sharing", Uber Entertainment has released a huge update for Super Monday Night Combat with the biggest addition being Steam Trading. Just head over to your Steam Inventory or prompt a trade with one of your friends on Steam to check it out. You're not able to trade away your Mr. Destructoid outfit, but we know you would never want to do that anyway, right? You will also find quite a few bug fixes, new game rules, and a huge overhaul to the menu UI. I have to say I'm quite excited that they fixed the bug that greatly increased the respawn timer after the 25 minute mark. That got pretty annoying. You can head over to Uber Entertainment's forums to see the full list of bug fixes and rule changes. Uber didn't stop there; they also announced a crossover with Team Fortress 2. I'm sure you can guess what that entails. That's right, new hats! There's two hats that you can unlock in TF2, and two outfits you can unlock in SMNC. Here's how you can score those new unlocks:
[Note: If you've already reached these levels, you will receive the unlocks too.] Tags:#Free-to-play#MOBA#Monday Night Combat#PC#Steam#Team Fortress 2#Uber Entertainment#Updates#video Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)It's funny because everyone was (ignorantly) calling this a TF2 knockoff with the original's release. With all the time I have invested in playing Soldier in TF2 I think I need the tie-in gear for Megabeth. More useless cosmetics in TF2. I'll have to start deleting stuff soon to make room for actual weapons. Saw a guy with the SMNC Assassin helmet when I was playing TF2 last night. I guess now I know how he got it. 7:30 PM on 06.18.2013 Nintendo trying its hand at free-to-play with Steel DiverThat upcoming free-to-play Nintendo game? Let out a sigh of relief. 8:00 PM on 06.17.2013 Dota 2 will be 'released' this summerIt's a bit weird when games that are so widely played and enjoyed shed their beta tag and are "released." I mean, I've dumped almost 400 hours into Dota 2, and it's technically not "out" yet. Anywho, Valve has finally confirm...
