The more you know, Maurice.
I don't know a single person in Europe who buys boxed PC copies, but that might just be me living in Western Europe.

Super Meat Boy Ultra Edition headed to PAL retailers
Distributor Lace Mamba Global is bringing Super Meat Boy to retailers in the The Netherlands as a boxed Ultra Edition for PC. Oh, and also to Belgium, Luxembourg, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, France, Italy, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. Untrustworthy sources report it's too violent for Germany, and Portugal and Greece are out of money. While Lace Mamba didn't actually detail the pricing or contents of this "Ultra Edition," or why they would release a boxed retail PC version of all things (especially after the Potato Sack pack and Portal 2 ARG), they did share its version of what Super Meat Boy is about. "In the platforming game Super Meat Boy, people play a boy without skin. His girlfriend, who is made of bandages, gets kidnapped by a fetus in a tuxedo wearing a top hat and a monocle." And here I thought he was just a regular jumping cube of meat... Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)Finally someone who gets the synopsis right! Why does everyone (or rather, PETA) think he is a cube of meat? I mean, he IS a cube of meat, in essence, but still... you get the idea It's probably a PC version because a) the PC version's sold twice what the 360 version has, and b) the PC is vastly more popular in European countries.
The more you know, Maurice. @Tingler:
I don't know a single person in Europe who buys boxed PC copies, but that might just be me living in Western Europe. It's also because you can't just put out a boxed console game with a whole new certification ordeal. With the PC version they can just put the .Exe on a CD and throw in cool stuff. 5:00 AM on 05.07.2013 PAX Australia Indie Showcase winners announcedPAX Australia has announced the six indie games that will be on display at the Indie Showcase. 1:30 PM on 08.22.2012 Fall of Cybertron PC won't come to AustraliaIn Australia, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will not be getting a PC release. Aussie gamers will instead have to stick with consoles, nothing at all, or Plan B. When PC Gamer asked Activision for a reason, it got a very abrupt, "No info. It's just not available." Well, that sucks for Australian PC gamers. Still, they've gotta be getting used to these regular screwjobs by now.

DuckTales was always one of those games that I never thought in a million years would get a re-release, much less a remake with hand-drawn art and fully voiced dialog performed by the original cartoon's voice actors. Somehow,...more
Contrast is hands down the most unique game I played at E3. It's rare to find a game that melds adult themes with the whimsical storytelling mechanics of a child's mind. Blended with nteresting puzzle platforming, Contrast is surely going to spark some interest when it arrives.more
