Still haven't beat the last level either, for shame.
Just the game still crashes a bit too much, they don't fix the glitches, no solution to stop the leaderboards from showing obvious cheaters, though that is a minor complaint. And how each character should have their own times on leaderboards.
A friend doesn't consider my wins against him on a level because I used a different character and thing is once you beat your time, it cannot get replaced. So a character that can shed like 15 seconds off while Meat Boy cannot do that... impossible for me to show I could beat his time with Meat Boy, the same character he used.
The difficulty stems from being able to do the right thing at the right time, not "floaty controls".
You know what else has floaty controls? Hot air balloons and stunt planes, but people can use them just fine following the steps I outlined above.
It was 75% off through Steam for a while in December. GamersGate has it 75% off for this week.
SteamGameSales shows it having multiple sales of varying amounts in the last year, including 75% through Steam in December 2010. (Unfortunately, SteamGameSales doesn't track Indie bundles, and its history of online stores it does track sometimes seems a bit lacking as well.)

I wonder, is their strategy to constantly put the game on sale so that people will buy it thinking that it is a bargain? Wasn't one of their complaints against Microsoft that Microsoft didn't put it on sale more often?
@article: hope binding of Isaac does that well. Shit, at least half that well. Such a great game. Hope it comes to 3ds (cmon Nintendo approve it), as I'd love to have a portable version. Vita as well.
Although if you like I'm sure I could find a copy of Barbie Horse Adventures for you. Seems more like your pace.
Jesus man, chill. He is a writer for fucks sakes. He is paid to write in a slightly exaggerated fashion to entertain.
If it upsets you that much, then take a breath and move on.
Still, good to see them being successful.
@NickCull
BoI was a fantastic game, quite honestly one of my favorite games this year. I would've paid $15 easily for it if I knew how great it actually was. Although 40 hrs in and I've still yet to come across Loki.... grrrrr....
It is a game that sometimes requires for precision dodging (there are some moments that approach bullet hell status), but Isaac continues to slide after you release a direction key.
It is a game that sometimes requests precision shooting, but it doesn't decouple bullet velocity from player velocity. Annoying on its own, but made worse because Isaac continues to slide when you release a direction key.
You can eventually get used to the mechanics, but it doesn't mean the mechanics are good.
Know thy enemy.
Sun Tzu said that! And I think he knows a little bit more about war than you because he invented it!
And the difficulty is NOT on account of "floaty controls" but it depends on perfect timing and REPETITION !!!
