When I first saw the World 1 boss of Super Meat Boy, I just assumed that the game would have you to going up against one of Dr. Fetus's giant machines on a semi-regular basis. That's how Dr Wily and Dr Robotnik roll, so why would Dr Fetus be any different? I'm delighted to say that I was wrong. Super Meat Boy wont be that cliche', as proven by the giant, cannibalistic, humanoid, adorable dweller you see before you.
C.H.A.D. is this thing's name, and you'll met him at the end of World 2. As you can see, he looks like Meat Boy, but much bigger, and with teeth that have clearly been around the block a few times. I wonder what the guy eats? Probably meat.
The press will get to fight C.H.A.D. at E3 2010, and you know I'll be there to give you some hand-on video coverage. Super Meat Boy is set to hit XBLA, Steam, and WiiWare sometime this year.
One of the problems with most narrative-focused games is that after you've played through them once, most of the surprises are over. The Yawhg, the next game from Damian Sommer (Friendship in 4 Colors), looks to circumve...

This is only coming to Windows for the time being, but Dodrill h...
A few seconds into this trailer for The Swapper and I'm reminded of how uniquely gorgeous the puzzle-platformer looks. There is, after all, a reason why we resort to bringing up The Neverhood in these situations; not enough ...
Max: The Curse of Brotherhood developer Press Play has once again talked about its fairly unique relationship with Microsoft, this time in an interview with OXM. The independent studio, it should be pointed out, was acquired ...

On the cusp of a number of PC summer sales, Indie Royale has released another mostly-fantastic indie game compilation. Known as the The Mayhem Bundle, players will get five indie titles that sufficiently "bring the pain" thr...
Notion Games, an indie developer for the upcoming Super Ubi Land ran into a pretty big roadblock recently -- you know, because of that other developer and mega-publisher that has the phrase "Ubi" in it. Yep, that's right, Ubi...
Yesterday, the Skullgirls Facebook page announced that the "Slightly Different Edition" patch was finally available on the Xbox 360 version of the game. The PlayStation 3 version was patched in November of last year...
