Now, only gamers would think or say this, but this is classy as hell! For one, Super Mario Land is my jam, and it's good to see it getting respect. Secondly, everytime this guy (revolvingdork on Flickr) pulls out his laptop, he's going to receive mad geek props. Oh, and lasers are sweet.
His Flickr page says that the etching on the lid of his Asus EEE pc lays out everything between World 1-1 to World 4-3 from the classic Game Boy platformer. He had this cut at NYC Resistor, where they'll also etch your laptop for you. Check out his gallery for more pictures.
I so want to do this now. Of course, I'm looking to do a Destructoid themed etching, though. What would you get etched on your laptop?
