Destructoid's new obsession Super Hexagon has been downloaded approximately 45,000 times, according to creator Terry Cavanagh.
This is encouraging news, as not only is Mr. Cavanagh a talented designer, Super Hexagon itself is truly great and deserving of this early success. The super slick iOS game may look simple in appearance, but the quick, frenetic gameplay makes it one of the most unbelievably addictive games I have ever played on my phone.
I try to tell everyone about Super Hexagon, so I take full credit for at least a few dozen of those downloads. In fact, I just got someone to download it while typing this. Make the new total sales for Super Hexagon a cool 45,001.
