Here's a thing we don't necessarily see too often in videogames: anthology. Experiment 12, which you can freely download right here, right now, is a collaborative effort between twelve different indie developers, including Super Hexagon's Terry Cavanagh and Lone Survivor's Jasper Byrne.

The full list of contributors? Terry Cavanagh, Ian Snyder, Jack King-Spooner, Zaratustra, Richard Perrin, Michael Brough, Robert Yang, Alan Hazelden, TheBlackMask, Jasper Byrne, Jake Clover, and Benn Powell. Each did a chapter of Experiment 12. Any chapter can be accessed immediately, but there is some semblance of a narrative linking the disparate bits that you might miss out on if you go searching for your favorite creator's work.

I'm too bleary eyed at the moment to have my head screwed with, someone want to tell me how crazy this is?

Freeware: Terry Cavanagh, Jasper Byrne, 10 more to disturb you in Experiment 12 [IndieGames]

Gone Home coming to Wii U

Gone Home. It spawned the worst debate since, "Is it art?" the dreaded, "Is it a game?" Thankfully it lead to more thoughtful writing, too, outside of that human centipede.  It was previously announced for undisclosed co...more

Shovel Knight looks great in 16-bit, Aegis Defenders just looks great

Oh my goooddd. How did I miss this until now? It's like a Nausicaa game. Thank you sir Shovel Knight for making a cross over appearance (above) in Aegis Defenders, which is how it came to my attention.  The Kickstarter already passed its initial funding goal and its PS4 stretch goal. Local co-op and a Wii U version are up next. Here's hoping. This looks amazing. more
