11 seconds! That's how long this short, sweet trailer for Crazy Taxi will take to watch. Oddly enough, in that amount of time, we're told much of what we need to know about this release.
The iOS version of the classic Dreamcast game will be playable across iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch when it releases sometime this month on the App Store. No price point yet, but there is honest-to-goodness Offspring in there. Maybe Sega got the licensing down for the full soundtrack? That would be a plus.
Its going to be 99 cents, with all the drivers except 1 as unlockable IAP. They would be unlocked at a buck each of course. Oh, and the new IAP additions such as, extra time, double money for the next time you play, and so much more fun!
If it's a good port, with all of the original content and soundtracks in it I'll get it most def though.
If they have rights to the music again, they really should patch the XBL/PSN versions. It'd be really shitty to include it on the mobile versions but not give it to the people that bought it on XBL/PSN.
Hope they release this for android someday, even better if they make it optimized for Xperia Play, I can only imagine how much I would suck playing this on touchscreen.
I was just talking to my wife about this game yesterday. I was saying how I didn't get it on XBLA because Offspring wasn't on it. It really ruined it for me that I didn't hear Offspring playing while I went CARAZAY!!! I always remember Crazy Taxi being the first time I heard main stream music in a video game.
