Lone Survivor is SO GOOD. I beat it twice but got the same ending both times. It's like Silent Hill, except it's actually good.
What Cody said. I'm not usually a fan of survival horror game, especially the Silent Hill games, but Lone Survivor is in a league of its own. It's like nothing else I've ever played. And it's fucking fantastic.
I really want to play Lone Survivor, but I hate gaming on my PC (I work 8-10 hours a day sitting at the PC, and that is enough time spent in that chair.

If you do another interview with Jasper Byrne about Lone Survivor I really wish you would bring up Schizophrenia. He's soooo close to just exploding with information.

@ Coldhorn- I know! We were just about to get to that when they show was wrapping up. We touched on it a little bit, but not nearly as much as I'd have hoped.
As you may know, I did Social Work in a psychiatric hospital for about 8 years, that I am a LICSW and can diagnose and even hospitalize people if I have to, so the whole concept of mental health means a lot to me. The only two games I can think of that have even come close to properly depicting someone with mental health symptoms is Deadly Premonition and Lone Survivor.
Deadly Premonition is amazing because it actually portrays the casual confidence that someone which symptoms of schizophrenia may come across with. Most games play up the "screaming maniac" cliche, and it's awful. In Deadly Premonition, all of the "insanity" that Roark experiences comes seems completely normal to him. It all makes perfect sense from his perspective.
That's what it's really like to have delusions and hallucinations.
Anyway, I could go on about that, but I should save that for the next interview with Jasper. I really look forward to having him on again.

Jasper Byrne and Johnathan Holmes you are both such lovely people and I really love Jasper's taste and choice of inspiration in games.
Until I saw this Sup Holmes I hadn't even taken a proper look at Lone Survivor, but I'm definitely going to buy it now if only to support this guy. (The game also looks great!)
