Sunsoft's Galaxy Fight coming to PSN Import Store photo

There's the big names in fighting games, and there's the old ones that are stuck, lost in time. Those are the ones that are the most fun to dust off and try again every once in awhile. Eternal Champions is always my pick. But Sunsoft's Galaxy Fight would also fit the bill nicely.

Galaxy Fight is coming to the PlayStation Network's Import Store this week, thanks to MonkeyPaw Games. They say that this fighter was the first one to use an endless platform, and that it influenced other fighters that followed it. This one never made it to the US as a solo release, so now's your chance to try it out.

Galaxy Fight hits PSN tomorrow for only $5.99.

I wonder if it will be part of the $3 psn+ price.

Just FYI...this one DID come to the US, but on the Sega Saturn. So, technically Dale is right, since this is the PS One release...but also, wrong. j/k.

Now, did it's sequal, Waku Waku 7 come to the PSOne in JP? If so, work it, Monkey Paw!

@gigamach, neither of the spiritual sequels made it to the ps1. waku waku 7 and astra superstars were both saturn games though, and waku waku 7 is on the wii via virtual console (it was a neo geo game as well).

This game is one of the few fighters that actually gets me frustrated because of how ridiculous the AI is from stage 1.

Nice. Plus, I get 50% off for being a psn+ member.

A) I loved Galaxy Fight on the Saturn. Check this game out if you are looking for something new, because it's a load of fun if you have an open mind.
B) It DID actually get released to North America - but only on the Saturn.

C) And no, you can't get Waku Waku 7. It never got released on the PSX, because it just couldn't handle it. Hell, the Saturn couldn't even really handle Waku Waku 7.

Hurray Piracy! Hurray Thievery!

You do realize that 'it's freely available' line of thinking could (and likely will) be applied to every piece of software that currently and ever will exist, right? So, why single out Galaxy Fight?

WW7 on Wii VC? I had no idea! Ima get that. I have the Saturn Version, and it's fun, but terribly pixilated.

THX for the heads up, Shouryuuken.
