i don't really know what the point of the video was, but the fact remains, tats v cap is (currently) the best game in the vs series. mostly due to the reduction of buttons. i'm hoping that they go with four button controls for m vs c 3, but they'll probably keep the controls from m vs c 2.

i think you may be right, steel battalion had buttons for the sake of having more buttons. half of them were only used to start up your mech.

Oh thank God someone said it!, i'm damn tired of people bitching about games not being core enough due to simplified controls, i can understand if it's too much like Ubisoft's one-button-does-all-case but TvC? bullshit, i swear i'm gonna ROFLMAO madly if MvC3 has that control scheme and then i'm gonna puke of the hypocrisy overdose from the very whiners lapping up Capcom's decision to make things simpler.

On a sidenote, i love Birdie's over-the-top-hardcore-gamer character, keep him around even if it is for an ep once in a while, it's a fun way to deliver the same message and a nice chance of pace and on that note if you want to give Felicia a whole ep for herself i won't complain, just remember to add some subs for those of us not versed on felinise.

@ EdgyDude- There is talk of Fridays with Felicia, or something along those lines. It would probably be a monthly thing instead of weekly. We'll see. I'm not sure everyone involved will be up for it.

And MvC3 does have the same basic layout as TvC, except the fourth button does a little bit more than just tag. My understanding is that people are already bitching about it, "three buttons is for babies why did they ruin it?" sort of stuff, and always from people that haven't even played the game yet.
