Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Have you thought about adapting this bit to a feature film?
"Oh, what!? ... Before? I looked pale because I was sick!!"
The last few haven't felt nearly as pointed. The first videos really seemed to be communicating a point and went after the topic openly with examples and good use of green screening. Maybe its because I've been working longer hours lately and my head has turned to mush, but unless this is a joke that just went on too long about how many big ticket games still employ absurd racial stereo types at least in the periphery, I really missed it.
I guess I'm just saying I hope your videos return to earlier form, where it really feels like you are directly addressing the viewer with clear chip on your shoulder. I'm too tired by this point of the day for intellectual subterfuge.
But, yeah, I think I agree with UltorOscariot a bit, where I still find these hilariously awesome in their own right, I liked the earlier ones being more direct and frank. This seems like it would've worked well as a hilarious cutaway in a longer video about stereotyping in video games.
That being said, THEEOOOOO!
Those are the eyes of a champion right there.
Good stuff.
1.) You find a human corpse and you want to tell the police generally what it looks like before they get there.
2.) You need to go and meet someone you've never seen before at the airport, bus station, docks....etc.
And screw racists. Let their own blind stupidity keep them from enjoying all life has to offer. More for us :P
@ the Company- The video was originally about 6 minutes long, but I chickened out and made a shorter version. Maybe I'll PM you the original if I can find it.
@ UltorOscariot and Mooks- I'm really flattered that you liked Sundays with Sagat and it's original host. I've tried some different things lately, for a variety of reasons, but that doesn't mean I want to move away from the original concept of this series completely.
I hope you stick with it a little longer and see what happens. The whole thing may be coming to a close soon, but I still have about four more episodes to post for sure. I think that you'll like at least one of them.
It's still powerful, just in a different way IMO.
