You can't find copies of these games for love nor blowjobs in my home country, but Konami has been gracious enough to release Suikoden on the PlayStation Network. I am pretty sure this is excellent news and we should be happy.
Priced at a sweet $5.99, this old PlayStation classic is considered to be one of the best RPGs the system ever housed, and the franchise overall has earned a reputation as a genre flag bearer. Either way, it's shot to the top of my PSN "things to buy" list. A list that, to be honest, includes about two other titles at best.
Press release after the jump.

This gives me great hope for PSone games on PSN. Hopefully we can slowly start to catch up the Japanese store.
YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!
Definately one for any RPG fan to pick up. Suikoden 1 and 2 are probably the most sought after PSOne games ever.
QUICK, PUT IT ON EBAY NOW WHILE THEY'RE STILL TIME!
Actually, the JP PSN store had it out for awhile I think, and then there was the PSP ports of I and II, so you may have a good little while before it drops.
And actually, it would still be worth a pretty penny since it's a REAL copy.
If they put out all of the ps1 RPGs on the Playstation Network, they'd be zillionaires....and why not, it's not like the developers are making money off the eBay auctions.
Even though I already own it (and play it once a year, at least), I bought it because I need to let Konami know that I still have a continued interest in the franchise. Also, any reason to stop sticking my Suikoden discs into places that could harm them is good enough by me.
