I imagine its inFamous 3. It'll be considered a trilogy and a new one(4) won't come out until the PS4.
I do hope for a new ip as well though. Big fan of inFamous(and Sly) and I'd love to see what else they can come up with.

i love infamous 1 and 2, but i'm not sure if they can make a huge AAA game... whatever, a new game (new IP?) from a great developer? hooray!
I glimpsed at the title, saw the words "Sucker Punch" and thought that there was gonna be a game made from the movie "Sucker Punch". Then I realized it was just about the developer of the Infamous series.
I'll just add to this sentiment and hope it's a new IP. They're talented enough to make something great.

While I'm all for new IPs myself, I'd like to see the Infamous storyline wrapped up and no, I didn't feel like it was done at all.
TBH, those requirements are kind of boiler-plate for any senior-level position (and actually for a lot of mid and lower level ones, surprisingly). That said - very interesting.
I hope they do something new that doesn't involve climbing pipes/builings or sliding across wires...

I would love to see a new IP. Too many sequels, prequels, apin-offs, remakes, and reboots in this generation.
well, the endings of inFAMOUS 2 are WAY too different to allow a sequel. I think Cole's story has been told, but I can imagine a spin-off set in this universe with all the conduits.
Why are u guys talking about Uncharted. Uncharted is unrelated to this article. Insomniac make Ratchet games and Resistance. Uncharted is made by Naughty Dog.

On topic, just platinumed inFamous 2 two days ago, and I would like inFamous 3, but if it's a new IP, then that's ok. The Good Karma ending had a twist at the very end *note: the last lightning bolt that hits the boat*, and the Evil Karma ending I consider non-canon, and that gameplay could be different since you literally have an army of *spoilers*!

I hope it's a new IP. As much as I loved inFamous 2 and would probably be happy to play number 3, I would like to see a new IP from them. That, and both endings just struck me as Sucker Punch saying to Sony "Try to make a sequel out of THIS, bitch!"
Given the endings to inFamous 2, I would say that inFamous 3 is unlikely. Obviously they have room to mess with stuff if they wanted, but it isn't needed given the endings answer all the relevant stuff.
The only stuff that needs answering is some relevant information gaps that exist in the storylines.

Both ending were clearly left open. It'd be interesting how'd they deal with the completely different endings. I imagine the evil one would be non canon.
While inFamous is one of my favorite series, I too wouldn't mind seeing a new IP from these guys. As long as it isn't a shooter.
If it's InFamous 3 then I'd be upset because that would mean Sucker Punch is selling out badly, it has to be a new IP at least.

Sucker Punch personnel have mentioned that Sony wants another inFAMOUS, but that the choice is up to them. They even commended Sony on allowing them the freedom to decide themselves. Of course, that freedom comes with knowing that another inFAMOUS would be certain profit. Still, a new IP, then inFAMOUS 3 on PS4 wouldn't be a bad idea. Also, I'm kind of inebriated, so please forgive any typos.

I really like the inFAMOUS games, but i hope it is a new IP. (still havent passed inFAMOUS 2 yet so idk if it leaves in a cliff hanger like one did)
