Well...I'm still jazzed for the single player campaign, but the MP looks like the bastard child of CoD and Halo.
Its too bad they took out the co op from R2 but this looks good. I never really liked the competitive multiplayer in R2 but this looks like something i will enjoy. I will probably pick it up and I hope they tell us what the fuck happened to nathan Hale.
This title would've been better suited for a 2012 release.

Looks really good so far. I only have two complains. First, the whole map looks extremely uninspired. The screen also seems kind of full of shit, not a fan of the big blocks. Looking forward to this.

Meh. I loved the Resistance singleplayer campaigns but the multiplayer always felt slight to me. Crappy level design and character animation were the boner killers

I am glad to see that they are concentrating more on smaller team based MP. In R2 I feel they concentrated more high number player count rather than satisfying gameplay. Bigger doesn't automatically mean better.

meh, am i the only one who is concerned by the fact that Sony development studios are constantly dumbing down their games just to get slightly better graphics? we gone from 40 people multiplayer matches to 60 in Resistance 2 to finally 16 in Resistance 3.
it happened with Killzone, Uncharted, GT5 etc. in the past 2-3 years. people claim that ps3 is so powerful, but when developers have to constantly dumb down their products just to keep up with 360 there's something seriously wrong both with ps3 and with Sony Computer Entertainment's strategy.

Looks terribly boring. The same old generic fps multiplayer we get all the time. Except with even more brown and less sound.
They should have really stuck with 64 players. At least that was somewhat unique. Or not as common, whatever.

I'm a big Resistance fan, and what I just saw didn't excite me at all. I heard someone also say that multiplayer co-op is out....PLEASE DEAR GOD don't let that be true, cause it seems I will only have the single player campaign to look forward to. The multiplayer I just saw in this vid is lacking big time...total weak sauce!!! Come in Insomniac...get your shit together.
Killzone 3 has trained my mind to expect a FUCKING AWESOME melee kill whenever an enemy gets two feet too close. INSOMNIAC, I AM DISSAPOINT
