Stubbs the Zombie, Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows coming to Xbox Originals on May 19 photo

Microsoft will build upon their library of Xbox Originals next week by adding Wideload's Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse and Midway's Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows to the service. Both titles will be available on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace on Monday, May 19 for 1200 MS points each (or $14.99 in human American monies).

And to save some of you guys some legwork, used copies of Stubbs the Zombie and Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows can be purchased from GameStop for $12.99 and $14.99, respectively. Both titles are backwards compatible.

So -- zombies or elves?

Stubbs was fun, for a while. It got old quick. Never played Gauntlet, but I bet it sucked

I always wanted to play stubbs, never got around to it though. It's probably cheaper to just go buy it used.

If they work better than the Xbox disc on a 360, i am for it.

Stubbs wasn't bad, but it got annoying when they started introducing enemies who could hit you with lots of shots and stay "just" out of your range when you chased them while they reloaded.

I did like the setting and the music choices were inspired, if underused.

Stubbs was so so, but not as bad as Gauntlet.

Stubbs was a fun game but I wont buy it twice. Gauntlet was terrible.

I've actually heard pretty good things about Stubbs, and it's been on my list of games to try out should I ever actually finish the ones I own.

I liked Stubbs, but I lost interest along the way and never finished it. Loved it's style and most of the soundtrack though...
I played a level of Seven Sorrows and was done with it. I'm glad my bro bought that pile and not me. Fun fact: The dummy even bought the strategy guide. I failed him as an older brother...

Seven Sorrows was a waste of money, I bought it thinking it would be like Gauntlet Dark Legacy...but was horribly disappointed.

I wish they would just add more to the disc backwards compat list or come out and say no more. Originals are a pain on the 20 gig drive.

Does anyone actually buy the Xbox Originals from the marketplace? I didn't think they sold well enough for them to keep releasing more.

@13thDragon-

I bought one, Psychonauts, but deleted it from my lowly 20GB harddrive due to space constraints after a while. I'm not planning on buying any more, ever...

@13thdragon

I bought Ninja Gaiden Black

@anybody who hasn't played stubbs

It was developed by members of the original Halo team and its really one of the most overlooked games in the xbox library. I love it but I'm also biased towards zombies. Maybe I'll blog about it.

I never got to pick up Stubbs before, but I'd still rather have a physical copy.
