We'll finally get to see Poison in action in a fighting game, and (hopefully, some final clarification on her gender). Her juggle game looks crazy, with her slow moving projectile. If she and Juri were indeed a team, they would be mind boggling. The rest are kind of expected, but still great news.
Kinda wish they at least released SFxTekken BEFORE announcing UMvC3... Kinda makes me ponder if I should even get this, knowing there will most likely be a re-release in the not to distant future...
After the ultimate mvc3 announcemenf I will wait a full 10 months or so before wasting money on the first version of a capcom fighting game.
Poison and Yoshimitsu? Very nice choices. I'm liking this game more and more.
(Also, I think the deal between Capcom and Namco was only for one game, so I don't know if they could release an "Ultimate SFxT" or whatever without running it by Namco first.)

This confused the Final Fight 2 localizers, who decided that the easiest way to make things simple for our simple North American brains was to claim that the girls were really male transvestites with their penises tucked up really, really tight.
Because that was so much simpler than saying "yeah, she's always been a girl". I think there was something about not wanting to show violence against women but also something about being too damned lazy to do any spriting changes, so yeah.
And to be perfectly honest, at least you can pretend a post-op transexual was always female. Kinda hard to do that no matter how attractive the top half is if there's danglies where no danglies should be.

I swear if capcom leaves Elena out yet another game I will personally dick slap Seth Killian in the face. I don't care how much involvement he has in the character picks he's gettin it in duh face. Ono to that fucking troll! What did they say when SSF4 came out "oh Elena just barely missed the cut." So AC edition comes out and what do we get another Akuma and Ryu that NO ONE WILL USE!!!!!!! Cool, I was expecting the Street Fighter side to be nothing but tweaked characters from SSF4, nice to be surprised.

@meteorscrap: Actually, you got it wrong. Poison was originally a female character, but localization (and legal) department in America thought it was uncool for a male character to beat the crap out of women... So they changed her/his back story to make him a man with a wig. The Japanese side of Capcom dig that story (for whatever reason) and made it cannon.
Oh god yes, Yoshimitsu. I wasn't considering buying this, but my interest is now officially tickled.

Now that Poison has a proper 3-D model, maybe they can stick her into Marvel Versus Capcom 3 as DLC along with Venom(any version will do)now?
Poison is a big surprise. Also, I wasn't expecting her to be in this game. It's nice to see them throw us a curve ball(or two). For a while I was afraid that this was just going to be Street Fighter 4 with Tekken characters(and that guy from Infamous for some reason).
